When Mooch & Mel were out in San Diego for the Angie Lee PTBB 2019 they heard a lot of incredible people speak. So many different accomplishments Lori Harder, Drew Canole, Chalene, Hungry for Happiness and Boss Babes- but one really common message linking them all together.
The biggest mistake they have seen and experience- thinking we can and have to do it all on our own.
Today’s Wednesday Wisdom we want to remind you of the power of leaning into others, asking for help and share our top 3 reasons why calling in others can change your life.
1- Rather than spend a year or more trying to “figure it out” and wasting time, money and most importantly, emotional energy, doing so, we can get mentors and coaches to take us up to the next level and keep us accountable while doing so.
2- Having trusted teammates to call upon when sh*t hits the fan, makes all the difference. It takes us out of our heads, and into the truth of the experience. It keeps us from working ourselves up so much that we can’t get out of our own way. And heck, it even makes all that craziness, a whole lot of fun.
3- Combining our strengths and experiences makes for a hell of a lot of power and possibility. It’s impossible for us to have a #zoneofgenius in everything. This is why it not only frees up energy but it accomplishes more to work with people who balance your zone of genius and you do the same for them, too. Win-win.
Mooch and Mel believe in these things so much that they built MOVE. on it. They offer a place for others to learn from them so that they don’t have to figure it out on their own. And they practice what they preach with their own coaches, too! They built a community of teammates for everyone in the group to lean into and they combined their own strengths to give each person in MOVE. the absolute best value.
You don’t have to do it all on your own.
Don’t let that voice of fear, ego, guilt or shame convince you otherwise.
Listen to that voice of possibility.
And make your MOVE.
