Hi! It’s been a hot minute since Mooch and Mel shared a bit about themselves so here goes!
We are Mooch and Mel on a mission to help others live their best personally and professionally. Sometimes that means ditching diets, other times ditching cubicles but it always means living in alignment to what fills people up authentically.
Speaking of alignment, we are a little woo-woo and a lot of laughter. We don’t take ourselves too seriously but take our ability to make impact on this world VERY seriously.
Inspired by our guardian angels, Mooch’s dad who lost his life to ALS and Mel’s daughter who lost her life to NEC, we believe in our hearts that they conspired for us to meet and let Tim Dlugolecki pave the way when he puked in Mooch’s bootcamp class.
It never gets old. (Built Our Business On Puke).
A conversation over margs turned into what’s possible which led to a meeting over matcha mapping it out. Weeks later we launched MOVE. and after building our business (on puke) to 6 figured in 5 months while making MASSIVE meaningful impact changing lives, we decided to teach others how to do the same.
Seems like this world would be a better place if we all could make the most positive impact possible on others sharing our gifts, ya?
We don’t like odd numbers, the number 54 is a sign (ask us about it!) and have an affinity for green juice, grape juice and tacos.
4 other random fun facts:
1- Our foods are actually different. They may look the same, but from our matchas, to our smoothies to our gnocchi and sometimes even tacos… subtle differences between them based on what works best for each of us.
2- We said “MOVE.” at the same time when asking ourselves what we should name the business.
3- We have totally different strengths but the same vision and values. This makes us a power house duo. It also allows us to best serve people because they get both of our zones of genius with a unified commitment to growth and progress.
4- We have paid our staff, our charities and our coaches more than we have paid ourselves. By choice. Being ABLE to pay ourselves more and choosing to INVEST in what will take us and our ability to serve to the next level- two different things. One reason for such success.
Mostly, we are just regular human beings who laugh, cry, get scared and dream anyways… we have moments we would redo, wine we would unspill and parking tickets we wish we never got. But the way we see it, it’s ALL a part of this amazing thing called life.
We are doing our best.
Impacting our best.
And holding our angels so closely to us all along the way.
There is so much possibility for all of us.
