Today’s #WednesdayWisdom we are getting personal.
Our moms thought it was cute.
Our friends assumed it was a phase.
Our employers followed along to be nice.
When we took the scary leap to trust ourselves and to trust each other, it wasn’t easy.
But we knew it was the fear of failure that was desperately trying to keep us safe.
We get it- everyone talks about facing the fear of failure.
But what do you do when you are really, really, scared?
We don’t want you to stuff down that fear and pretend it doesn’t exist because it’s just going to pop up somewhere else. cue: whack-a-mole.
We want you to make space for it and then trust that it’s the moments that are the scariest, that are actually the ones that offer growth, transformation and breaking through limiting beliefs.

Just imagine the growth there, waiting for you to see it or look for it (hideandseek?). It might be in the shadow of fear, doubt, uncertainty, whatever is surfacing. But it’s there.
If you want change, real change, you have to let go of the expectation that it’s going to be comfortable.
Facing fear isn’t easy.
It’s by default, scary.
But when we face it, even when others are shaking their heads as if we are giving it a “nice try”, when we trust ourselves and our worth enough, big MOVE.s…. Life-changing MOVE.s, transpire.
